The All Progressives Congress (APC) Councilorship Candidate in Ota Ward 3, Hon. Mrs Noimot Lawal-Balogun, popular as Harleroh, has on Thursday, kickstarted her campaign amidst wider acceptability from electorates.
While handling over the Party’s flag to Harleroh, Ota Central Campaign DG, Hon. Chief Dele Adeniji, said that the party believes so much in her prowess, more reason she emerged as the Party’s flagbearer and that she should ensure she delivers on her campaign promises as she cruises home to victory.
Harleroh, during her acceptance speech, thanked all party leaders and stakeholders for believing in her choice while promising to uphold the tenets of good governance by delivering on her campaign promises to the good people of Ota Ward 3.
She urged electorates to come out enmasse to vote her in the November 16 local government elections while promising not to let them down.
One of the electorates, Mrs Ramota Adalemo, who spoke with VOA News Correspondent shortly after the event, promised to mobilize her support for Harleroh as she ‘believe in her capacity to ensure they have a taste of what dividends of democracy is like’.
Another electorate, Mrs Adewale Nike, who showed her PVC to our Correspondent during an interview, predicted the victory of Harleroh in the coming election as she argued that, ‘she is the candidate to beat and that she doesn’t have an opposition’.
