The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) has announced its plan to restrict vehicular movement for the November 16th Local Government elections in the state.
In a release made by the Chairman of the Commision, Babatunde. A. Osibodu Esq and made available to newsmen on Thursday, vehicular movement would be restricted from 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday across all the twenty (20) Local government areas in the state to ensure the smooth run of the local government election.
VOA News report that political parties across the twenty local government have prepared to slug it out in what is likely to be a keenly contested election as to who becomes the local government chairmen and councillors in the state.
