Voters in the commercial nerve centre of Ogun State have expressed their dissatisfaction with the electoral process after voting exercise has refused to commenced after hours of waiting at their various polling units.
The LGA elections across the twenty local government areas were slated to commence by 9:00am, but that is not the case in Ado-Odo/Ota local government as electoral materials have not arrived at various polling units across the local government as at the time of filing this report.
In an interview with one of the voters in Ota ward 3, Mrs Adewale, she expressed her concern that hours after leaving her house to carry out her civic duty, no OGSIEC staff in sight to conduct the electoral process.
VOA News report that with no electoral materials in sight, electorates have resorted to going about their lawful businesses despite the state government’s statewide restriction of movements.
