Odan-Otun Decides: Chief Babajide Durojaiye (Action For Efele) Beats Other Contestant To Emerge As New Baale

Chief Babajide Durojaiye, popular as Action For Efele, has beaten other contestant, High Chief Kehinde Adeosun Osunkayode to emerge as the Baale elect of Odan-Otun town in Itele, Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State.

In what appeared to be a popular candidate carrying the day, VOA News gathered that there are five families that are eligible to vote and out of the five stocks, only one family boycotted the election, which has been adjudged, ‘free and fair’.

Some of the family members who voted Chief Babajide Durojaiye as their new Baale, described him as a ’round peg in a round hole’ as his antecedents made him a preferred choice for the much coveted stool.
