The Onikosi of Osi, Ota, HRH Oba Sikiru Anibire has breathed his last.
VOA News Correspondent can confirm that Oba Sikiru Anibire who ruled from Ikin, one of the three ruling houses in Osi, Ota, joined his ancestors in the early hours of Wednesday after a protracted illness.
Oba Anibire, who until his death, was the first Oba in Osi quarter, one of the four quarters in Ota and was crowned in March, 2018 alongside Ajana of Ijana, Onikotun of Otun, Oloruba of Oruba all in Ota and ruled for 7 years.
A source, close to the palace of Onikosi, while confirming the demise of the traditional ruler, said that he died in the early hours of Wednesday and traditional activities for his passage will commence in earnest.
