There was drama at an eatery when a man publicly rejected a marriage proposal from his supposed girlfriend, despite attempts by onlookers and her friends to intervene.
In what can be described as an unusual occurrence, a lady was captured on video kneeling with a ring box in her hand, attempting to propose to her long-time boyfriend. However, to everyone’s shock, the man declined and began walking away, leaving both the woman and onlookers stunned.
Despite the crowd cheering him on to accept the proposal, the man appeared unfazed and ignored them all. Even the lady’s friends, who tried to intervene, were also disregarded.
The video, which is currently trending, has sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Many Instagram users criticized the lady for lowering herself by kneeling to propose, arguing that it should traditionally be the other way around, especially in Africa.
